Pet Safety

Keeping your pet safe:

The most important things you can give your pet are a healthy diet, a safe place to live, and lots of love.

Here are a few simple rules to help make their environment safer:

1. Keep all electrical cords out of reach of animals.

2. Don't let your dog ride in the back of an open truck.

3. Check your pet's collar regularly to make sure it isn't too tight or worn out.

4. Make sure you always keep your pet on a leash when they are outside.

5. Don't let your cat play with string.

6. Keep your cat indoors

7. Keep all medicines and painting and cleaning supplies out of animal's reach.

8. Cover any pools or standing water outside which animals may venture onto.

9. Make sure your animals have id tags to identify them and that they get vaccinations yearly.
