On 4/25/07, Clay received the Children's advocacy award from the National Center for Learning Disabilities. The NCLD celebrated its 30th anniversary at its annual benefit dinner, "Voices of our children, voices of our future." Clay also sang "I Will Carry You " with students from Currey Ingram Academy of Brentwood, Tennessee.

The National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD) works to ensure that the nation's 15 million children, adolescents and adults with learning disabilities have every opportunity to succeed in school, work and life.
