On 11/13/04, the Bettendorf Library had a Doodle Day auction to raise money for their library and their programs. They raised more than 27,000. Donald Trump and Clay were the two top bids.

On 11/30/07, Fans held a birthday book drive to help the Kalamazoo Communities in Schools group. Over 1220 books and 690 dollars were donated to promote literacy.
