On October 18, 2008, the Bubel Aiken Foundation hosted a gala in Raleigh, NC.  One of the items in the gift bags for Gala attendees was a copy of the Bubel Aiken Foundation's Christmas stories book. These were stories that were submitted last year for the 'Christmas in the Heartland' tour. Some were read at venues, but the book includes a wider selection.
